FINDING MELANIA

Finding Melania is a solo show, a twisted dark comedy about the fascination and lure of masculine power and the women who submit all. Merging dark clowning, surreal visual landscapes, and absurd comedy to explore the grotesque behind the glamorous facade of Melania Trump.

What if the Trumps never left the White House but are secretly existing in the hidden chambers buried deep below the building, in the belief that they will one day return to power? Years have passed and there is a female president. Melania is enraged as she listens in on life upstairs and longs for her previous role while Donald is nothing more than a grunting pile of flesh on the floor. Always believing she has an audience Melania lives out her memories, dreams, and fantasies while the world has forgotten her.
