i must go in, the fog is rising

“i must go in, the fog is rising” – Emily Dickinson

An unnamed woman turns up at the doorstep of an unnamed man to kill him.

She knocks on the door.

She has a death song for him, she has soft words and will hold his hand as he slips into an eternal sleep. He’s passed the pre-assessment psychological tests; he’s been approved for his end-of-life service. She is ready to facilitate a successful passing.

A short play about assisted death. A short play about the gig economy. A short play about loneliness. Written and directed by Iskandar إسكندر R. Sharazuddin.
